How has this helped you reconnect?
My grandma's Iranian and Kuwaiti cultural roots. Because I don't live back home, photos of actual photographs are what make me connect back to my home, my culture, and my family. My grandmother is one of the most important figures in my life, she recently passed away and I wasn't able to go back to see her because of my visa status, which is why I look at my photos often to hold on to all the memories I have of her.
